A family business starting out in 1974, Six-O has an excellent reputation and a longstanding customer base across the whole of the UK.

We have a wide range of vehicles available in our fleet, from small vans right up to a 13.6m arctic trailer, meaning we have the flexibility to provide a vast range of services from same day courier services to large pallet deliveries.

We are also part of a nationwide haulier network which gives us access to over 2000 logistics partners. Through this network we are able to help you with all of your haulage needs, including the most urgent deliveries and collections.

How do I send large parcels?

Yes. Our delivery services cover the UK and Europe. With our freight network, we can ensure the safe and timely delivery of your consignment to any European country.

There’s a few pieces of information that we need from you in order for us to calculate a cost for delivering your items. These are:

  • Collection date and address
  • Delivery date and address
  • Weight
  • Dimensions

If you know the type of vehicle you require (small van, 18t, artic etc), then this is also hugely helpful and will help us get you a quote quicker.

Groupage shipping is the term used when consignments, pallets and parcels are consolidated into one single shipment. This is a very cost-effective way to ship your items as the cost can be shared across multiple companies that require the service.

We can arrange a delivery for you on the very same day that you contact us. Our same day delivery service takes care of the most urgent of shipments and we ensure your items arrive at their destination on time and in perfect condition.

For larger, long-distance deliveries we require no less than 1 hours notice.

Pallet delivery is the shipping of items from one location to another on pallets. Pallets are used for particularly large or heavy items or when a number of items are consolidated for transport together.

Tail lift deliveries refer to the vehicle used for items that are too large, heavy or fragile to lift on or off by hand.

We have a range of vehicles with tail lift available for such consignments to ensure the safety of the delivery drivers and to ensure the items are protected from potential damage
